This is located in General Options > Graphics. The definition of “Off screen terrain” is anything not currently visible behind the user.

I hope … WebbI run the game at 65 render scaling, Oculus Dev Tool at 1.7 scaling, ASW off, OpenXR at 100% scaling, and NIS Scaler at 90% and 65% sharpening. I have a 2080 Super and an i7 4790K with 16GB of ram. I have the game set to mostly medium with settings with a few highs and clouds at Ultra.
WebbMSFS 2024 just added offscreen VR pre-caching in the latest hotfix (released 09/17/21). Game/Software MSFS 2024 is one of my primary games in the G2. I don't think they announced this was coming, but a lot of people had been requesting this be made available in VR, as it was previously already available in the 2D version.
