Keep in mind that Ubuntu and ROS versions are paired with each other: e.g. 16.04/Kinetic and 18.04/Melodic. They don’t work interchangeably. So in this walkthrough I will install Ubuntu 18.04 and then later we’ll install ROS Melodic.
