WebIf you increase Headset chat mixer then you 'll hear more the party chat and less the game audio. Mic monitoring is how much you want to hear yourself while talking, it prevents talking loud. Also, it makes a constant noise so i don't like it and i have it off. Also go to System>Settings>General>Volume & audio output>Chat mixer> Select Do nothing. When you plug a headset into a controller, the game audio and any chat you do is automatically goes through the headset speakers.
