WebAccording to the guide, Victor's Shack is the intended player housing at start of game. Personally, I always use the four Sunset Sarsaparilla crates between the General Store & the Prospector Saloon to store all my stuff. It's not 100% safe, but as long as you don't drag the crates around too much it's fine. I've never had a problem.
