When I saw it, I was surprised it took GuitarPlayer this long to review it since it'd been a hot item for awhile now because of its size.

WebNov 7, 2006 · It's a 4-ohm cab, though, and the mono output wants an 8-ohm, so tonight I'm gonna try my 8-ohm single 15 cab (a very cool funky 60s Guild cab). I never even considered buying anything from Crate until I got this amp. As you said, their reputation wasn't really great. But this was $99, and the size, features and specs appealed to me.
